Arthur Frederick BURTON
- Born: 25 Apr 1860, Swaffham, Norfolk
- Baptised: 25 Apr 1860, Swaffham, Norfolk
- Marriage (1): Kate Amelia PORTER in 1888 in Lambeth, London
- Died: 1909, Swaffham, Norfolk aged 49
Noted events in his life were:
• Baptism, 1860, Swaffham, Norfolk. Church records show that he was baptised Frederick on the same day that he was born but Birth Registration Index gives his name as Arthur Frederick. On the census the following year there is a child Arthur recorded for George and Mary Burton his age is given as 1month but there is no record for a child being born to them in 1861. So I suppose Frederick and Arthur to be the same child commonly known as Arthur Frederick on other records.
• Census, 1891, Swaffham, Norfolk. Harness maker living at 17 Paris Street, Lambeth
• Census, 1901, Swaffham, Norfolk. Bricklayer's labourer living at Spinner's Lane two doors away from Robert and Matilda Burton
Arthur married Kate Amelia PORTER in 1888 in Lambeth, London. (Kate Amelia PORTER was born on 3 Jan 1868 in Eastney, Portsmouth, Hampshire.)
