This is the last Will and Testament of me John Biddick of Trevance in the parish of Saint Issey and County of Cornwall. First I give and bequeath unto Catharine my dearly beloved Wife the Sum of two Pounds to be paid her within one Month after my Decease Also an Yearly Annuity of Fourteen Pounds payable by quarterly payments out of my Lands called Messengroses (or Trewince Tenement) during the Term of her natural Life, and in the same proportion for less than a quarter at the time of her decease. Also the House Garden and Premises (where my Son Hugh Biddick lately lived) for her Residence And also my Clock, Chest of Drawers & the Bed I now sleep on, with all other such Household Furniture as is necessary for her Use during her Life, and after her Decease the aforesaid Annuity, House Garden and premises and Household Furniture (except the Chest of Drawers) shall devolve to my Executor hereafter named. Secondly I give and bequeath unto my Son Hugh Biddick the Sum of Twenty five Pounds, to be paid him within one Year after my Widows decease. Thirdly I give and bequeath unto my Son Luke Biddick the Sum of Twenty five Pounds to be paid him within one Year after my Decease. Fourthly I give and bequeath unto my daughter Frances Spear my Chest of Drawers immediately after my Widow's Decease. And also the Sum of Eighty pounds to be paid her within one Year after my Widow's Decease. Fifthly I give and bequeath unto my Son William Biddick the Bed that my Grandson John Spear now sleeps on, within one Month after my Decease And also the Sum of Two hundred and Ten Pounds to be paid him in the following Manner, that is to say, the Sum on one Hundred Pounds within one Year after my Decease and the Sum of one Hundred and Ten Pounds within one Year after my Widow's Decease. Sixthly I give all my printed Books to be equally divided between my Wife and Children. Seventhly I give all my Wearing Apparel to be equally divided between my two Sons Luke Biddick and William Biddick. Eighthly and Lastly All the rest residue and Remainder of my Lands Goods Chattels and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever not herein given and bequeathed I give demise and bequeath unto my Son Peter Biddick his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns, whom I constitute and appoint my whole and sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament Nevertheless subject to the payment aforesaid Annuity Legacy's my Funeral Charges and expenses All my just Debts and the Expenses of proving this my Last Will. And I do hereby revoke all other Wills before made by me, satisfying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this twentieth Day of April one thousand eight hundred and twenty six.
