• Census, 1851. Captain's wife living at 12 Tredegar Street, Cardiff. John is not entered on the census. Living with Nancy and the children is her cousin Amelia Hornabrook.

• Census, 1861. 33 Sophia Street, Cardiff. The only census on which her husband John is resident.

• Census, 1871. Living at 33 Sophia Street, with her daughter Annie and son-in-law William H Goodman. Also living at the same address are Her daughter Maria and son-in-law James Deans.

Nancy married John BRABYN, son of William BRABYN and Elizabeth BROWN, on 24 Mar 1840 in Padstow, Cornwall. (John BRABYN was born on 19 Dec 1808 in Padstow, Cornwall, baptised on 7 Mar 1809 in Padstow, Cornwall, died on 3 Jul 1866 in Cardiff, Glamorganshire and was buried on 6 Jul 1866 in Cardiff, Glamorganshire.)
